29th Annual Christmas Open House at Narnia Studios

Narnia Studios, 408 N. Main St., Hendersonville, will host its annual Christmas Open House
Special prizes and purchases will help all of Santa’s helpers make some progress with their lists. Tasty treats will be provided.
Guests will be able to see examples of Narnia Studios’ signature floral Christmas designs such as the popular Table Top Christmas Trees as well as specimen poinsettias and holiday gardens.
Narnia Studios is holding special Christmas raffles throughout the weekend. No purchase necessary. The winners from the Annual Gingerbread Cookie Contest will be on display.

20th Annual Gingerbread Cookie Contest
Winners will be announced December 5, 2025
“Bakers of every age are encouraged to create their best gingerbread man or woman, boy or girl! We are looking for the most artistic creations the entrants can cook up,” said Barbara Hughes, owner of Narnia Studios. There are four categories: traditional, unusual, bakers under 14 and teamwork", added Hughes.
The rules are simple: they must be 100% edible and the deadline for entries is December 1, 2025. We will announce the winners during our 29th Annual Christmas Open House on December 2nd and have all the cookies on display throughout that weekend. The entry in each category will be awarded a hand-blown glass Christmas star ornament from Narnia Studios. * For more information, call Hughes at 697-6393. Narnia Studios is located at 408 N. 24th Annual “Lover’s Lane on Main!
February 1–14, 2026
“Lovers Lane on Main” has returned for it’s twentieth year, hoping to bring business to downtown Hendersonville during the Valentine’s Day weekend.
The idea behind Lovers Lane is for two businesses to pair up, with each business offering customers coupons for their business sweetheart!
27th Annual Black History Essay Contest

The essays are to be written about an African American who is an historical figure, a celebrity or someone the student knows personally. They must be 250 words or less. The essays must be received at Narnia Studios, 408 N. Main Street, by 5:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 24th. The awards ceremony for the winners will be held at the school of each winner. There will be one winner from each grade level. This contest is open to all 3rd and 7th grade students in Henderson County public schools, private schools and home schools. Every 3rd and 7th grade teacher receives a personal notification.
23rd Annual “Easter Bonnet Promenade” for 2025
An old fashioned Easter Bonnet parade with a new twist!

Sashay on over to downtown Hendersonville in your finest Easter bonnet…
We are encouraging everyone, men, women and children to don their Easter finery or ‘funnery’ and shop in downtown all day Saturday, March 30.
People who wish to participate in the contest should gather at Narnia Studios, 408 N. Main Street at 2:00 p.m. and saunter southward for 2 blocks and then cross to the west side of Main Street to the Historic Courthouse. Winners will receive prizes and ‘goodies’ from Narnia Studios and Henderson County History Museum .
