Pam McAloney ~ Artist To Exhibit
Pam McAloney, one of the newest artists to display her work in Narnia Studios, recently moved with her husband John to Hendersonville from Melbourne, Florida.

Thirty years as a graphic designer have come to a close and now Pam is going back to fine art where she started 45 years ago doing pen and ink and pencil studies.  Watercolor, pastels and oils are the mediums she enjoys working with the most now and her styles range from realism to impressionistic.

Sitting on the her front porch has inspired her to do paintings of the beautiful North Carolina mountains giving God credit for such magnificence.  Are the distant mountains lavender, gray blue or maybe light red…it's all in the eye of the beholder.  Flowers have also been a favorite subject allowing her to enjoy the vibrant colors and shapes that again only God could create…white roses …are they really white or do we see purple, yellow, light green, blue...  At the show you may also find a few wildlife paintings…lions and tigers and bears, oh my.

Another artistic endeavor has been painted furniture sold through galleries and also on commission.  Pam will be displaying several of her paintings at Narnia Studios on Gallery Walk, Friday, May 5, 2006.

The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served. For more information click on Contact.
